Stingray City, a sandbar in the North Sound Lagoon, is the iconic experience: here you swim with tame stingrays in waist-deep water — an unforgettable natural experience. The Cayman Turtle Centre is a breeding facility for endangered sea turtles, where visitors can experience the animals up close. The National Museum in the historic Old Courts Building tells the story of the islands from pirates and turtle catchers to the modern financial center. Underwater, Grand Cayman offers world-class diving: the Kittiwake, a sunken shipwreck at 18 meters depth, the dramatic wall of the Cayman Wall, and Eden Rock with its underwater caves are just minutes from George Town.
