How does the Genie work?

You describe your trip in plain English — for example, "Trip for 2 people, next Friday to Monday, romantic, by the water, maximum 3 hours by car." The Genie identifies the travel period, number of people, mood, and limits, matches them with editorial ratings from over 1,800 destinations (romance, beach, family, nature, culture, etc.), and calculates the travel time from your starting point. The results show why they fit, and your travel details are automatically transferred to the offer comparisons on the destination pages.

How much does the Genie cost?

Where do the destination ratings come from?

Each destination in our database carries editorial ratings from 0 to 100 for romance, family, beach, nature, culture, nightlife, and more — along with travel and flight times from Germany. The Genie combines this data with your request.
