The hiking trail along the cliff edge offers dramatic views of the Baltic Sea and the passing ferries and cruise ships.

Ferries to Scandinavia operate from Travemünde — the arrival and departure of the huge Baltic ferries in the narrow Travemündung is a daily spectacle that hundreds of spectators watch at Priwall and the Nordermole.
