§ 1 Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the website holidaygenie.de, operated by Butterflies IT UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hagenower Str. 73, 19061 Schwerin, Germany.
§ 2 Description of Services
HolidayGenie is a free holiday portal that provides users with inspiration, planning tools and a community platform for travel reports. The use of basic features is free of charge.
§ 3 Registration
A free registration is required for the use of certain features (writing travel reports, trip planner, wishlist). The user is obliged to provide truthful information and to keep their login credentials confidential.
§ 4 User-Generated Content
Users may upload travel reports, reviews and photos. The user warrants that they own the rights to the uploaded content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. The user grants HolidayGenie a simple, free-of-charge right of use for publication on the platform.
The following content is not permitted:
- Spam, advertising or commercial content
- Offensive, racist or discriminatory content
- Pornographic or violence-glorifying content
- False or misleading information
- Content that violates applicable law
§ 5 Liability
HolidayGenie assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of user-generated content. Travel recommendations and information do not constitute binding advice.
§ 6 Termination
The user may delete their account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or delete user accounts in case of violation of these Terms & Conditions.
§ 7 Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Schwerin, insofar as legally permissible.
