Religious Holidays (annually moving)
- Ramazan Bayramı (Sugar Feast): 3 days at the end of Ramadan. Some shops closed, extreme domestic travel.
- Kurban Bayramı (Feast of Sacrifice): 4 days, the most important Islamic holiday. Hotels fully booked, domestic flights 3–4× more expensive, many shops closed. Avoid these days for domestic travel!
💡 Tipp
During Ramazan and Kurban Bayramı (each 3–4 days), all of Turkey is on the move — domestic flights, buses, and hotels are extremely booked and expensive. Do NOT plan your vacation on these dates (change annually, about 11 days earlier). Check the dates in advance!
