The largest city in the southern hemisphere (22 million in the metropolitan area) is Brazil's culinary and cultural capital. World-class gastronomy, legendary nightlife, the best street art in South America, and museums of international standing.
🌴 Northeast (Nordeste)

Brazil's tropical northeast combines Afro-Brazilian culture in Salvador, the surreal sand dunes of the Lençóis Maranhenses, the paradise Fernando de Noronha, and the hippie mecca Jericoacoara. The sunniest and warmest region in Brazil.

The green heart of the planet: the largest rainforest on Earth, traversed by the mightiest river. Manaus as the gateway to the jungle, jungle lodges, the meeting of the waters, pink river dolphins, and indigenous communities.

The spectacular Iguazú Falls, the wildlife-rich Pantanal, the crystal-clear rivers of Bonito, the European-influenced cities of the south, and the beautiful beaches of Florianópolis.
