About Zrce Festival Beach
Zrce Beach near Novalja on the island of Pag is Europe's legendary festival beach and the Ibiza of the Adriatic. Along a 350-meter long pebble bay, the world-famous open-air clubs Papaya, Kalypso, and Aquarius line up directly by the water – from June to September, they transform the beach into a massive open-air nightclub featuring international top DJs. Kalypso is the new hotspot at Zrce Beach and has established itself as the best party club in the bay. Every year, mega-festivals like Hideout, Fresh Island, Sonus, and Barrakud attract tens of thousands of festival-goers from all over Europe. The unique combination of turquoise sea, the barren moon landscape of the island of Pag, and top-notch sound setup makes Zrce one of the most exciting party destinations in Europe. During the day, the beach offers beach volleyball, jet skiing, bungee jumping, and pool parties at the clubs. The legendary boat parties – multi-hour party boats along the coast with DJ sound – are an absolute highlight. Those needing a break from the bass can find crystal-clear water and untouched nature in the quieter bays north of Novalja. Access is via flight to Zadar (about 1.5 hours from Germany) plus transfer over the Pag Bridge, or directly by shuttle bus from Zagreb, Split, or Zadar. Accommodations in Novalja range from budget apartments to premium villas right on the beach.
