Important Tips for Island Stays
- Meals: Most islands have no independent restaurants. Book meal packages — they are convenient and often cheaper than à la carte.
- Cash: There are no ATMs on the islands. Withdraw enough cash in Nadi. Credit cards are only accepted in larger resorts.
- Electricity: Some budget resorts in the Yasawas only have electricity for a few hours (generator). Bring a power bank!
- Mobile reception: Mostly Vodafone network on the Mamanucas and southern Yasawas. On the northern Yasawas: patchy to none.
