Shopping & Bargaining
Bargaining takes place in markets and small shops — and a few words of Thai make all the difference:

Composition: 25 = yîi-sìp hâa, 150 = nùeng rói hâa-sìp, 3,000 = sǎam pan.
💡 Tipp
When bargaining at the market: State the desired price in Thai and smile. The mere fact that you know Thai numbers signals that you're not a clueless tourist — and the price often drops automatically.
