About Sopot

Sopot is Poland's glamorous seaside resort on the Gdańsk Bay — an elegant bathing destination with the longest wooden pier in Europe, a lively bar street, and a wide sandy beach on the Baltic Sea. Together with Gdańsk and Gdynia, Sopot forms the Tri-City (Trójmiasto). The Molo, Sopot's famous wooden pier, extends 511 meters into the sea and is the city's landmark. A walk to the end at sunset is one of the most romantic experiences on the Polish Baltic coast. Bohaterów Monte Cassino, known as Monciak, is Sopot's legendary promenade — lined with restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the famous Krzywy Domek, the Crooked House. In the evening, Monciak transforms into a vibrant party street. From Hamburg, Sopot can be reached in just under an hour by plane — thanks to affordable flight connections to Gdańsk, Sopot is an excellent value-for-money destination.
