Stadtrundgang
Caldera-Wanderung Fira → Oia
The most spectacular hike in the Cyclades: Along the caldera rim from Fira to Oia, always with the breathtaking panorama of the sunken volcanic caldera in view. The path leads through the villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli, past the Skaros Rock, through vineyards and barren volcanic landscape. Arrive in Oia just in time for the sunset — the perfect finale. Difficulty: Medium (some steep sections, little shade). Start early in the morning or late afternoon, bring water (at least 1.5 L) and sun protection. Sturdy shoes recommended (sneakers are sufficient). Return by bus from Oia to Fira (€1.80, every 30 minutes).
