💡 Tipp
In Petra, you will constantly be offered donkey rides, camel rides, and "taxis" (horse-drawn carriages). The price is agreed upon IN ADVANCE — including tips. Nevertheless, more is often demanded at the end. Be friendly but firm. And: The animals often suffer under the conditions — many animal welfare organizations advise against riding in Petra.
