Villimalé & Day Trips★
Villimalé is only 2 km west of Malé and can be reached by public ferry in 10 minutes (5 MVR / 0.30 €). The small island has retained the charm of a fishing village that Malé has long lost: narrow alleys, colorful houses, children playing soccer in the street. There is a beautiful beach on the west side, popular with locals and almost unknown to tourists — perfect for a quiet afternoon.
