Climate Overview
Marrakech has a semi-arid climate — hot, dry summers and mild, less rainy winters. The city is situated at an altitude of 450 meters in a plain at the foot of the High Atlas, which rises up to 4,167 m. In summer, it can become unbearably hot, while in winter, night temperatures drop significantly.

Important: In July and August, temperatures regularly reach 40–45°C — in the souks without air conditioning, it can feel like 50°C. The nights cool down significantly in the desert air (20–22°C).
