Climate Overview
Panama lies between the 7th and 10th parallel — tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round and high humidity. Unlike in Europe, there are no four seasons, but only two: the dry season (verano, December–April) and the rainy season (invierno, May–November).
What makes Panama climatically special is the enormous contrast between the Pacific and Caribbean sides. The central mountain range (Cordillera Central) divides the country into two climate zones: The Pacific side has a clear dry and rainy season, while the Caribbean side is humid year-round and paradoxically has its driest months in September and October.
| Region | Dry Season | Rainy Season | Temperatures |

| Panama City (Pacific) | Dec–Apr | May–Nov | 25–33°C year-round |
| Bocas del Toro (Caribbean) | Sep–Oct, Feb–Mar | Rest of the year | 26–31°C year-round |
| San Blas Islands (Caribbean) | Jan–Apr, Sep–Oct | May–Aug, Nov–Dec | 27–32°C year-round |
| Boquete (Highlands) | Dec–Apr | May–Nov | 15–25°C (cool!) |
