Loire Valley

The Loire Valley is the garden of France and a UNESCO World Heritage site stretching over 280 kilometers. More than 400 castles line the longest river in the country — from the majestic architectural splendor of Chambord to the romantic elegance of Chenonceau and the intimate residences of Amboise and Azay-le-Rideau. Additionally, it is one of the most diverse wine regions in France, with gentle cycling paths along the Loire and a way of life that has been considered the epitome of French culture since the Renaissance.
