Lofoten & Northern Norway

The Lofoten Islands are one of Europe's great natural wonders: dramatic granite mountains rising directly from the Arctic Sea, red fishing huts against turquoise waters, white sandy beaches like in the Caribbean — only with a mountain panorama instead of palm trees. Together with Tromsø (Northern Lights capital), the North Cape, and the island of Senja, they form the crown of Northern Norway.
