Dining on the East Coast
The east coast offers honest, down-to-earth cuisine — less trendy than Palma, but more authentic. Fish restaurants in harbor towns, traditional Cellers (wine cellar restaurants) inland, and surprisingly good eateries in unassuming villages. Here, you still eat what was caught in the morning or harvested from the field.

💡 Tipp
For the best fresh fish, head to Cala Figuera: Here, restaurants buy directly from the boat. Always reserve in advance in summer — especially Sa Llotja and the harbor restaurants are full in the evenings. If you want to try authentic Mallorcan cuisine, look for a Celler: These traditional wine cellar restaurants (Es Celler in Petra is legendary) serve hearty home-cooked meals in atmospheric vaults.
