The Bukit Peninsula is Bali's most dramatic coastal stretch—a dry, limestone promontory at the southernmost tip, fundamentally different from the lush green rest of the island. Here, towering waves crash against vertical cliffs, hidden beaches lie at the foot of steep staircases, and the legendary Uluwatu Temple perches 70 meters above the Indian Ocean. In recent years, Bukit has transformed from a pure surfer's secret to Bali's trendiest region—with spectacular beach clubs, infinity pools over the sea, and some of the best sunsets in the world. Yet, the peninsula remains rougher and more authentic than Seminyak or Kuta.
