💡 Tipp
After a long international flight to Kathmandu, treat yourself to the first 1–2 nights in a quieter hotel in Boudha or Lazimpat instead of Thamel. Thamel is loud and overwhelming — not ideal if you're jetlagged and exhausted. After acclimatizing, you can then move to the center of the chaos.
