Getting There
Larnaka (LCA) is the nearest airport (45 km, 40 min.). No direct bus — pre-book transfer (20–25€/person) or taxi (45–55€). Car rental recommended.
Accommodation
Ayia Napa: From party hostels to luxury resorts. Budget: Nissi Park Hotel (mid-range, 300 m from the beach). Package deals often offer the best value for money. Luxury: Grecian Bay (right on the beach), Adams Beach Hotel.
Protaras: More family-friendly. Capo Bay Hotel (right on Fig Tree Bay), Sunrise Pearl (upscale mid-range). Many apartments and holiday homes for self-caterers.
Getting Around
Bus 101/102 connects Ayia Napa, Cape Greco, and Protaras (1.50€, every 15–20 min. in season). For the beaches and Cape Greco, the bus is sufficient. For the rest of the island: car rental.
Day Trips
- Cape Greco: 15 min. by car, by bus 101. Hiking, snorkeling, cliffs.
- Larnaka (Salt Lake & Hala Sultan Tekke): 40 min. Combine with flamingos (Nov–March) and the beautiful mosque by the lake.
- Nicosia (Green Line): 1h drive. Best as a day trip with a rental car.
- Lefkara: 50 min. Lace village in the Troodos foothills.
