Croatia does not have strictly uniform opening hours. However, there are typical patterns — and the further south you go, the more flexible it becomes.

💡 Tipp
Dalmatians have a pronounced <strong>Fjaka culture</strong> — the sweet afternoon lethargy between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. During this time, many small shops are closed, the streets are empty, and life pauses. Plan your shopping for the morning or evening!
