Täglich 9:30–19:00 (letzter Einlass 18:00)
Cable Car + Sky Bridge: 75 MYR (~15 €), Kombi-Ticket inkl. SkyGlide: 95 MYR

The Langkawi Sky Bridge is an engineering marvel and the island's landmark — a 125-meter-long, curved pedestrian bridge suspended at 660 meters above the rainforest by a single steel pylon. The view is dizzying: Below you, the dense jungle of Gunung Mat Chinchang, ahead the Andaman Sea, and on a clear day, the coast of Thailand.

You reach the Sky Bridge via the Langkawi Cable Car (SkyCab) — one of the steepest cable cars in the world with a 42-degree incline. The gondola takes you in 15 minutes from the base station (Oriental Village) over the middle station to the top station at 708 meters. From there, a short walk (or a funicular, SkyGlide, 16 MYR) leads to the Sky Bridge.

On the grounds, there is also the SkyDome (3D experience), SkyRex (dinosaur simulator), the 3D Art Museum, and the Oriental Village with souvenir shops and restaurants. Plan 3–4 hours for the entire experience.

💡 Tipp

Arrive at opening (9:30) or in the late afternoon — at midday, the line is long and the heat is brutal. Clear visibility is most likely in the morning. If clouds shroud the bridge, the ride is still spectacular — but the view is nonexistent. Check the weather beforehand!

Achtung

The Cable Car and Sky Bridge close during strong winds or thunderstorms. In the rainy season (Sep–Oct), this happens more often. Check the status on the website or call ahead.
