Centro Storico (Navona / Pantheon)
In the middle of the action, within walking distance to everything. Expensive but maximally central. Good restaurant selection. Budget: 120–250 €/night for a double room.
Trastevere
Atmospheric, lively, good food. 10–15 min. walk to the center. Can be noisy in the evenings. Budget: 90–180 €/night.
Monti
