The Namibia Craft Centre (also known as "Old Breweries" because it is housed in the former brewery) is the best address for authentic Namibian handicrafts. On the ground floor and in the galleries, you will find:
- San Jewelry — handcrafted bead necklaces and bracelets in the style of Africa's oldest inhabitants
- Himba-inspired Ceramics — ochre-colored pottery and sculptures
- Karakul Wool Products — rugs, blankets, and clothing made from the famous Namibian sheep wool
- Wood Carvings — from the Caprivi Strip, hand-carved animals and masks
- Recycling Art — creative works made from wire, tin, and found materials
The Centre also has a nice café and is the ideal place for soulful souvenirs — fairly traded and made by local artists.
