★★★ Single Fin

The most legendary bar in Bali—an open wooden deck that hovers over a cliff with a direct view of the Uluwatu surf break. Surfers below, beer in hand, sunset straight ahead—this is where Bali's surf culture comes alive. Every Sunday afternoon, the famous "Sunday Session" takes place with DJs, live music, and a festival-like atmosphere. The cocktails are surprisingly good (Bali Sunset: 120,000 IDR / ~7€), and the food is solid: Pulled-pork burger (95,000 IDR), fish tacos (85,000 IDR), açaí bowl (75,000 IDR).

Open daily from 10 AM. DJ program on Sundays from 2 PM. No entrance fee. Parking full from 4 PM—arrive earlier.

★★★ Sundays Beach Club

An exclusive beach club at the foot of a cliff—accessible only by elevator, which takes you 60 meters down to the private beach. Below, you'll find white sand, turquoise water, infinity pools, daybed terraces, and a bar with top-notch cocktails (from 150,000 IDR / ~9€). The food is upscale international: Wagyu burger (250,000 IDR), grilled lobster (450,000 IDR), ceviche (165,000 IDR). Sundays live DJ and champagne brunch.

Access: 150,000 IDR minimum spend (credited against orders). Daybed reservation: from 500,000 IDR. Open daily 9 AM–9 PM. Reservation recommended, especially on weekends.

★★ Ulu Cliffhouse

A multi-level beach club on several cliff levels with an infinity pool that seems to merge into the ocean. The architecture is stunning—open pavilions made of bamboo and natural stone, fused with the cliff. Cocktails from 130,000 IDR, main courses 150,000–300,000 IDR. The "Full Moon Party" once a month is legendary. Dress code: Smart Casual, no swimwear at the bar.

★★ Warungs — Authentic & Affordable

Among the beach clubs, you'll find simple warungs where you can eat for a fraction of the cost:

  • Warung Bule (Bingin) — Legendary surf warung with panoramic views. Nasi Goreng: 35,000 IDR (~2€), freshly grilled fish: 65,000 IDR (~4€), Bintang beer: 30,000 IDR
  • Bukit Café (Pecatu) — Healthy food for the yoga-and-surf crowd: Smoothie bowls (55,000 IDR), avocado toast (45,000 IDR), organic coffee from Kintamani (25,000 IDR)
  • Warung Bejana (near Uluwatu) — Balinese home cooking: Babi Guling (suckling pig, 40,000 IDR), Lawar (traditional salad, 25,000 IDR), Sate Lilit (fish satay, 35,000 IDR)
  • Mana Uluwatu — Trendy veggie restaurant with sea view: Buddha bowls (65,000 IDR), jackfruit tacos (55,000 IDR), kombucha (35,000 IDR)

★ Roosterfish Beach Club

Smaller, more relaxed than the big clubs—on a terrace over the water with excellent seafood (grilled octopus: 145,000 IDR, crab linguine: 175,000 IDR). No infinity pool, but a more authentic atmosphere and lower prices than Sundays or Ulu Cliffhouse. Perfect for a long lunch with a sea view.

Price Comparison — Lunch on Bukit

Warung: 25,000–65,000 IDR (~1.50–4€) | Surf Café: 55,000–95,000 IDR (~3–6€) | Beach Club: 150,000–450,000 IDR (~9–27€)

💡 Tipp

The Sunday Session at Single Fin is a must—but arrive by 2 PM, secure a spot with a view of the cliff, and order right away. From 4 PM, it's packed, and you'll queue for everything. For Sundays Beach Club, reserve 2–3 days in advance via Instagram or the website, especially for a daybed on the weekend.
