The Omani coast is one of the most diverse on the entire Arabian Peninsula: From the dramatic fjords of Musandam in the north, through the historic port cities of the east coast, to the tropical Salalah in the south — each section has its own character.

Activities on the Coast
- Diving: Daymaniyat Islands (Muscat), Musandam, Bandar Khairan — coral reefs, turtles, whale sharks (Oct–Feb)
- Snorkeling: Almost everywhere along the coast. The best spots: Daymaniyat Islands, Musandam Fjords, Bandar Khairan (30 min south of Muscat)
- Fishing: Deep sea fishing is excellent in Oman — tuna, sailfish, barracuda. Charters from Muscat (60–120 OMR/day)
- Kayaking: Explore Musandam Fjords by sea kayak — a quieter alternative to the dhow tour
- Dolphin & Whale Watching: Musandam (dolphins year-round), Muscat (dolphin tours from the marina), Dhofar (humpback whales Oct–Feb)
